Quantum CPD Signal Awards – Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: September 3, 2025

These terms & conditions (“Terms”) between Quantum Metric, Inc. ("Quantum Metric", "QM", "we", "us", or "our") govern your participation in the Quantum CPD Signal Awards (“Awards Program”). By submitting an entry, you (“Participant”, “you”, or “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms.

  1. Eligibility
    Participation is open to individuals or organizations who wish to highlight their achievements in advancing Continuous Product Design (CPD). There is no requirement to be a Quantum Metric customer to enter. Void where prohibited by law. Participants must be 18 years or older and legally authorized to represent the organization on whose behalf they are submitting. There is no purchase necessary to enter.

  2. Submission Terms
    2. 1 Entry Portal
    All entries must be submitted exclusively through the designated Awards Program submission portal at [link]. There is no limit to the number of entries you may submit. Participants may enter into more than one category.
    2.2 Submission Period
    Entries will be accepted between September 3, 2025 at 12:00 AM PT and November 7, 2025 at 11:59 PM PT. Entries not submitted through the designated submission portal, entries that are late, or incomplete submissions will be considered at Quantum Metric’s sole discretion.
    2.3 Accuracy and Ownership
    By submitting an entry, you represent and warrant that: (a) all information is truthful, accurate, and complete; (b) you have full authority and rights to submit the entry on behalf of your organization; (c) your submission does not infringe upon or misappropriate the intellectual property, confidentiality rights, or other rights of any third party.

  3. Judging and Selection
    You may be eligible to be a finalist in multiple categories but you may only win one category. Finalists and winners will be determined at Quantum Metric’s sole discretion based on the merit and impact of the submission. Finalists will be notified via email the week of January 5, 2026. Finalists will be publicly announced on February 5, 2026, subject to Section 4 of these Terms.

    Winners will be announced live in-person at Quantum Metric’s user conference (LEAP) which is to be held in March 2026. Each winner of each category will receive one free ticket to the user conference. Winners will be fully responsible for their own travel and lodging. All decisions made by Quantum Metric or its designees regarding the Awards Program are final and binding.

  4. Publicity and Recognition
    4.1 Use of Participant Information
    By submitting an entry to the Awards Program, you grant Quantum Metric a royalty-free, worldwide, non-exclusive, irrevocable license to use your name, likeness, photograph, and your employer’s name and logo in connection with recognizing your status as a finalist or winner of the Awards Program. This includes but is not limited to: (a) announcements on Quantum Metric’s social media channels, (b) blog posts on Quantum Metric's website, and/or (c) press releases.

    Participants not selected as finalists or winners will not be publicly identified.
    4.2 Submission Story Content
    Quantum Metric will not disclose, reproduce, or distribute any narrative content from your submission without obtaining your express written consent (which may be obtained via email).

    We may contact you post-Awards Program to request permission to highlight your story in channels such as case studies, customer presentations, webinars or live events. Participation in such activities is entirely optional and may be subject to a separate agreement.
    4.3 Disclosure of Customer Relationship
    Your status as a customer (or non-customer) of Quantum Metric will not be disclosed in any public announcement, unless that relationship is publicly known or you have previously authorized such disclosure.

  5. Intellectual Property
    All intellectual property rights in submitted materials remain with the respective participants. By submitting an entry, you grant Quantum Metric a limited license to use your content solely for the purposes stated in these Terms, subject to Section 4.

  6. Privacy
    Quantum Metric is committed to data privacy and protecting your personal information. Information on how Quantum Metric collects, processes and uses your data, as well as how you can opt out of those uses, is included in the Quantum Metric Privacy Policy (located at https://www.quantummetric.com/legal/privacy). By submitting an entry, you agree that Quantum Metric may use your personal information to contact you by email, direct mail, or telephone in order to supply information relevant to this Awards Program, or about other conferences, events and opportunities that Quantum Metric is planning and feel may be of interest to you, as well as information about Quantum Metric’s products and services. Quantum Metric may also share your personal information, as well as your company name, with the Award Programs sponsors and/or partners in order for them to contact you about other products and services which may be of interest to you. We will not sell or share your personal or organizational data with third parties except as required to fulfill the terms of this Awards Program or comply with legal obligations.

  7. Limitation of Liability
    To the maximum extent permitted by law, Quantum Metric will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in connection with participation in the Awards Program, including but not limited to lost profits, lost opportunities, or reputational harm.

  8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
    These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to the Awards Program shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Denver, Colorado.

  9. Additional Terms
    Quantum Metric reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Awards Program and/or these Terms for any reason at any time. Updates will be posted on the submission portal. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remainder will continue in full force and effect.
